Arrange Meetings at CoSN 2021

CoSN2021 Attendees have the opportunity to use various new networking features at the virtual conference. This year’s conference, powered by eShow, will feature SmartMatch Appointment setting capabilities which are easy to use for everyone!

Below Attendees will find a few options on how to use the SmartMatch Appointment settings and other networking capabilities in the virtual conference:

Answer SmartMatch questions and View Your Matches:

First you will need to head to the Attendee Service Center to view SmartMatch Questions.

To answer the 3 easy questions for the SmartMatch Appointments go to your Attendee Service Center. Once logged in, click on “Update Your Profile”. Now that you are in your Attendee Profile please scroll down verifying your name, title, and company information is correct. Keep scrolling to view the “Appointment Matching Questions”, there will be only three. Finally, and this is important, click “Save” to save your answers. You can now go back to the Welcome Page to set up appointments.

To set up Appointments Attendees have two options, they can set up appointments through the Attendee Service Center or through the Virtual Conference.

  • To make appointments through the Attendee Service Center, also referred to as the Attendee Profile, please log in to your Attendee Service Center. After logging in please click, “Make/Manage Networking Connections & Appointments” it will be the third bullet point to select. From the Networking page you have the option to search for other attendees or exhibitors you want to potentially meet with from the Search tab. You also have the ability to view your current schedule of confirmed appointments or download a PDF of your appointment schedule in the Itinerary tab, appointments can be added to your google or outlook calendars.
  • To make appointments through the virtual conference beginning March 2nd you will need to log in here. After you have answered the 3 SmartMatch questions in the Attendee Service Center you can go to the Attendee Lounge in the virtual conference. Once in the Attendee Lounge, look to the left side navigation bar for “SmartMatch Appointments”. Click this, from here you have the option to search for other attendees or exhibitors you want to potentially meet with from the Search tab. You also have the ability to view your current schedule of confirmed appointments in the Itinerary tab, appointments can be added to your google or outlook calendars.

Visit an Exhibitors Booth:

By visiting an exhibitor booth in the EdTech Exchange, you will be able to chat or schedule a meeting with an exhibitor.

Once in the virtual booth, to chat simply click “Chat” at the bottom of your screen, it should be green if the exhibitor is in their booth. If “Chat Offline” appears in gray it means the exhibitor is away from their booth and not available.

To set up a meeting from the virtual booth please click “Appointment”. You will then be able to choose an appointment time from the available times.

Join Discussion Groups & Chats in the Attendee Lounge:

To find the Attendee Lounge, look at the top navigation bar in the virtual conference. Hover over the option labelled “Lounge”, you will see a drop down appear for the Attendee Lounge. Please click “Attendee Lounge”. Once in the Attendee Lounge, look to the left side navigation bar for “Chat and Discussion Groups”. Click this, from here you will be able to join a group chat within an Exhibitors Booth, join a Discussion Group, and conduct Private Chats with other Attendees, Exhibitors or Speakers.

All your chats will be saved in the Archived Chats section.
